Job Description
• Company: Northrop Grumman
• Location: Schriever SFB
• Duration: long term, ongoing contract – we are a direct sub to the C2BMC program
• Clearance: Secret, will hold TS if you already have it
• Program – C2BMC
"Essential Functions:
• Serve as the first line of defense for user-level interactions and issues
• Will primarily support users in person, by phone, email, or instant message (IM)
• Will be customer-facing, so refined customer service skills, in addition to IT skills, are a must
• Must be comfortable diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with remote users daily
• This position will also support MDA flight tests, focus on integrating the R&D systems into C2BMC, and contribute to other ongoing X-Lab projects as needed
Basic Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
• Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
• Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
• Willingness to travel 10% of the time for business needs
• Experience supporting users in an enterprise-level system
• Experience installing and troubleshooting Windows and Linux applications
• Experience with Java
• Comfortable interfacing professionally with users and customers in an IT service setting
• Ability to create and revise technical documentation for processes and procedures using platforms like Atlassian Confluence
• This position is full-time at Schriever SFB and is not a remote work position. Occasional off-hours work may be required"
