Job Description

Duties

  • Work with technical/functional SMEs in broad-based analyses required to define and document the Command's inputs for long-range, strategic fiscal planning processes.
  • Support and actively participates with the J8 and Command leadership team in presentation of proposed cyberspace program strategies.
  • Provide expert support for the Commander and leadership team's efforts to lead DOW Cyberspace program partners in devising long-range (i.e., five-to-10-year) strategic, priorities, and plans for the cyberspace program.
  • Recognize functional authority for cyber space resource analysis and planning.
  • Provide analytical expertise and leadership for the team's development of mathematical and statistical methods.
  • Lead team in collaborating with supporting analysts and cyberspace subject matter experts (SMEs) to formulate "problem statements".
  • Provide accurate information, analytical results and recommendations needed for informed decision making on program planning issues

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
  • This is a Drug Testing Designated Position. This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program. The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R.
  • The incumbent may be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.
  • The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1.
  • A one year Supervisory Probationary Period maybe required.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.

Specialized experience would be demonstrated by conducting analysis against manpower data to make recommendation on funding; monitoring the status of funds obligation and expenditures for programs; and utilizing artificial intelligence and statistical resources analysis to ensure data inputs and methods used are producing effective results.
