Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Network Defense (CND) Analyst 3 to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This full-time, on-site position requires a dedicated professional with extensive experience in network defense, cybersecurity, and information assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for signs of intrusion or malicious activity.
- Investigate security incidents and develop strategies to mitigate threats.
- Implement and maintain network security controls and protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of our IT infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior analysts and other staff members.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network defense or cybersecurity.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) required.
- Experience with intrusion detection systems (IDS), firewalls, and other security tools.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and encryption technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with specific government or defense sector networks.
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as NIST, FISMA, and HIPAA.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or SANS.
