ASRC Federal Advanced Research is currently seeking a Procurement Analyst to support autonomy vehicle integrations in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Considering the state of the world today, military technical innovation is critical to defending our territories and those of our allies. The US Army is currently exploring advancements to equip ground combat forces with autonomous vehicle platforms. This effort presents a unique opportunity for civilians to participate in the research and development efforts that will shape future battlefield combat platforms.

Job Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end procurement activities in support of defense programs, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management
- Develop and issue Requests for Quote (RFQs), evaluate proposals, and conduct price/cost analysis to ensure fair and reasonable pricing
- Ensure compliance with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS, and company purchasing policies (including DCMA-approved purchasing systems)
- Review and interpret Statements of Work (SOW), technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate procurement of materials and services
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contractual conditions with suppliers to meet program cost and schedule objectives
- Generate purchase orders and subcontracts, ensuring proper flow-down of contractual requirements and clauses
- Monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality, and responsiveness; address deficiencies as needed
- Coordinate closely with engineering, program management, and quality teams to ensure procured items meet technical and program requirements
- Track procurement status and provide regular updates on material availability, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Support material planning and ensure alignment between procurement activities and production schedules
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, files, and audit-ready records in compliance with government requirements
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including long lead items and single-source suppliers
- Support audits and reviews conducted by government agencies such as DCMA or DCAA
- Assist in proposal efforts by obtaining vendor quotes, developing cost estimates, and supporting pricing volumes
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance.
- A minimum of two years' experience using Department of Defense/FAR purchasing procedures.
- Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS, 25% annually.
- Bachelors degree in Buisness Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or equivalent and three years of experience.
- This can be substituted with technical training or certifications in Department of Defense purchasing and 5 years of experience.
