Job Description
"We are seeking an Interface Lead to oversee design, coordination, and sustainment of system integrations across a large-scale Agile program. This role acts as the central point of ownership for interface planning, dependency management, and production stability, ensuring integrations support capability delivery while remaining secure, reliable, and operationally effective.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead planning, design coordination, and ongoing management of system interfaces across the program
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Tier 3 (T3) sustainment including complex incident analysis, defect triage, and resolution coordination
• Partner with Product Owners, Solution Architects, developers, testers, and operations teams to align interfaces with business and technical requirements
• Manage cross-system dependencies, interface readiness, and sequencing across Agile teams and ART-level activities
• Support PI Planning, backlog refinement, ART syncs, release planning, and system demos with interface-specific inputs
• Oversee interface requirements, data mappings, transformation logic, message specifications, and support procedures
• Monitor interface performance, reliability, error trends, and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities
• Lead root cause analysis and coordinate resolution of interface failures, data inconsistencies, and transaction issues in production
• Ensure interface designs align with security, compliance, data integrity, and enterprise architecture standards
• Drive proactive remediation of recurring defects, technical debt, and supportability gaps
• Maintain documentation for interface inventories, dependencies, failure scenarios, and recovery procedures
• Communicate interface risks, impacts, and decisions clearly to program leadership and stakeholders
