Job Description
We are seeking a Solution Design Architect to lead solution architecture and technical design decisions within a scaled Agile environment. This role serves as the technical lead across Tier 3 sustainment, complex incident resolution, and product evolution, ensuring solutions are scalable, supportable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and maintain end-to-end solution architecture supporting business capabilities, operational stability, and scalability
• Serve as technical lead for Tier 3 (T3) sustainment, including complex defect triage, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution
• Partner with Product Owners, Scrum teams, and stakeholders to translate functional and nonfunctional requirements into technical designs
• Support Agile Release Train (ART) activities including PI Planning, architecture syncs, backlog refinement, and system demos
• Provide architecture guidance for enhancements, defect remediation, technical debt reduction, and modernization initiatives
• Analyze integrations, data flows, and system dependencies to identify risks and optimization opportunities
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards for security, performance, reliability, and compliance
• Review and approve technical designs, architecture artifacts, and interface specifications
• Collaborate with DevSecOps, infrastructure, and operations teams to improve resiliency, monitoring, and deployment practices
• Drive documentation of current and future-state architecture, support models, and recovery procedures
• Identify recurring issues and implement scalable, long-term solutions
• Mentor engineers and technical leads on architecture best practices
