Position Overview:
The Senior Director, Security Solutions - IAM is WWT's most senior domain authority in Identity and Access Management, responsible for the strategy, growth, and delivery excellence of WWT's IAM practice. This role carries executive client franchise ownership, and market-facing leadership equivalent to a Director at a Big Four professional services firm.
The Senior Director sets the practice's strategic direction, owns the pipeline and revenue targets for the IAM service line, leads the most complex and high-stakes client engagements, and represents WWT at the intersection of identity security, enterprise risk, and digital transformation. They build and lead a team of Senior Managers, Principal Consultants and other IAM consultant levels, establish WWT's point of view on emerging IAM trends and threats, and are the named executive sponsor on strategic client accounts.
The ideal candidate is a recognized IAM practitioner and business builder, someone who has built or led a high-performing identity practice, grown a book of business at senior levels, and operates with equal authority in a board room, a vendor partner summit, or a complex delivery governance session. They bring platform depth across the full IAM stack (IGA, PAM, Access Management, CIEM, directory services) paired with the executive credibility, business development acumen, and leadership presence to build a market-leading practice.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $190,00 to $240,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

Essential Functions:
Practice Strategy & P&L Ownership
- Own the IAM practice P&L: gross profit revenue targets, utilization, and headcount planning, with accountability for practice growth year-over-year
- Define and execute the IAM practice strategy: service portfolio, capability roadmap, market positioning, pricing, and go-to-market approach in partnership with Security Solutions leadership and WWT executive leadership
- Build and maintain WWT's point of view on identity trends, threat landscape, regulatory drivers, and vendor ecosystem shifts, translating market intelligence into actionable practice investments and client offerings
- Establish WWT as a recognized market leader in IAM through thought leadership, speaking engagements, industry forums, and published advisory content
Executive Client Leadership & Business Development
- Serve as named executive sponsor and trusted advisor on WWT's most strategic IAM accounts; own C-suite and board-level relationships at CISO, CRO, CTO, and executive committee levels
- Drive pipeline development and revenue growth: identify, shape, and close strategic IAM engagements, including multi-year advisory and managed service arrangements, in collaboration with account executives and practice leadership
- Lead executive-level pursuit activities: partner with account executives on go-to-market strategy, own the IAM domain in large competitive pursuits, author executive proposals and Statements of Work, and serve as the senior IAM voice in oral presentations and competitive bid processes
- Develop and deepen executive relationships with WWT's core IAM technology partners (SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Saviynt, Ping, Microsoft) to advance joint go-to-market, co-investment, and co-selling motions
- Identify and advance expansion opportunities within existing accounts; serve as the senior escalation point for delivery issues and client relationship risks
Delivery Leadership & Quality
- Lead and govern the most complex, multi-workstream IAM engagements: set delivery standards, own executive client reporting, and ensure consistent quality across the practice portfolio
- Maintain authoritative expertise across all IAM domains - IGA, PAM, Access Management, cloud identity (CIEM), zero-trust identity, decentralized identity, and identity threat detection and response (ITDR) - and serve as the ultimate technical authority for the practice
- Design and oversee enterprise-scale IAM architectures grounded in zero-trust principles, least-privilege access models, and cloud-native identity patterns; review and validate architecture recommendations across all major engagements
- Lead high-stakes executive workshops, program governance sessions, and board briefings; facilitate alignment among senior client stakeholders with competing priorities and represent WWT with authority in demanding advisory settings
- Advise clients on the identity-security interplay across application security, data governance, regulatory compliance (SOX, HIPAA, PCI DSS, DORA), and threat management, including identity-based attacks, credential compromise, and lateral movement via privileged access
Practice Building & People Leadership
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Senior Managers, Principal Consultants, and delivery staff; establish career paths, performance standards, and a culture of delivery excellence and continuous growth
- Own practice development: build and maintain reusable methodologies, assessment frameworks, delivery accelerators, and thought leadership content that differentiate WWT's IAM offerings in the market
- Establish and enforce delivery quality standards, engagement governance frameworks, and executive reporting standards across the practice
- Partner with WWT recruiting, enablement, and compensation teams to attract and retain top-tier IAM talent; actively build WWT's reputation as the destination employer for identity practitioners
Qualifications:
Experience & Background
- 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a sustained, deep focus on Identity and Access Management; must include substantial experience as both an IAM practitioner (implementing and operating enterprise IAM platforms) and a senior consulting leader (owning practice P&L, building books of business, managing teams of senior consultants)
- Demonstrated track record of building or leading a high-performing IAM or security consulting practice at a Big Four firm, major systems integrator, or equivalent professional services organization, with P&L ownership, revenue targets, and direct accountability for practice growth
- Proven record of developing and closing complex, multi-year advisory and implementation engagements at Fortune 500 and Global 2000 clients; established relationships at CISO and C-suite levels across multiple industries
- Experience managing, mentoring, and developing senior consulting talent; track record of building teams and elevating practitioners to senior and principal-level roles
Technical Mastery
- Deep technical mastery across all IAM domains with hands-on implementation and advisory experience, including:
- IGA - SailPoint IdentityNow/IdentityIQ, Saviynt, Omada, or One Identity (role engineering, access certification, SoD policy, lifecycle management, connector architecture)
- PAM - CyberArk (Core PAS, EPM, Conjur), BeyondTrust (Password Safe, Privilege Management), or Delinea/Thycotic (vault design, session recording, just-in-time access)
- Access Management - Okta, Ping Identity (PingFederate, PingOne), Microsoft Entra ID, or ForgeRock (SSO, adaptive MFA, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM)
- Cloud Identity - AWS IAM/IAM Identity Center, Azure Entra ID, GCP IAM, CIEM tools (Wiz, Ermetic, Sonrai)
- Directory Services - Active Directory (design, tiered admin model, hardening), Azure AD Connect, LDAP, and virtual directory architectures
- Expert working knowledge of identity and security governance frameworks: NIST SP 800-53 (AC and IA families), NIST CSF 2.0, NIST SP 800-207 (Zero Trust), ISO 27001/27002, MITRE ATT&CK, SOX ITGC, HIPAA Security Rule, PCI DSS, and DORA
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Assurance, or commensurate experience required; advanced degree (MBA, MS) a plus
- Advanced certifications demonstrating IAM program depth: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCSP, or equivalent strongly preferred
- Vendor-specific certifications from SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Microsoft (SC-300, SC-400, AZ-500), or Saviynt are highly valued
Leadership & Consulting Competencies
- Executive presence: proven track record presenting to boards, C-suites, and investment committees with authority and composure; skilled at translating complex IAM risk and architecture concepts into board-ready business narratives
- Business development: demonstrated ability to identify, shape, and close complex professional services engagements; skilled at structuring SOWs, ROM estimates, leveraged team models, and multi-year managed service arrangements
- Practice leadership: experience setting and driving practice strategy, managing practice P&L, building go-to-market plans, and representing the practice in market-facing settings including industry conferences, partner events, and analyst briefings
- People leadership: skilled at hiring, developing, and retaining senior consulting talent; establishes clear performance standards and fosters a culture of accountability, growth, and delivery excellence
- Delivery governance: experience establishing engagement governance frameworks, quality standards, executive reporting cadences, and escalation protocols across a portfolio of concurrent engagements
- Mature consulting delivery: structured discovery and workshop facilitation, gap analysis and maturity scoring, roadmap development and initiative sizing, and consistent production of board-ready deliverables, assessments, maturity reports, executive roadmaps, and program plans
