Cybersecurity Specialist 3

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist 3 to support a company focused on advanced Security and Electronic Systems, delivering integrated security, IT, and operational technology solutions for federal, local, and commercial clients. This position is on-site at Fort Belvoir. The Cybersecurity Specialist 3 will support Information System Security Engineering efforts by implementing cybersecurity controls, supporting RMF processes, and strengthening system resiliency across IT and OT environments. Responsibilities for the Cybersecurity Specialist 3 include:

• Implement DoD STIGs across traditional IT and OT systems, ensuring compliance and secure configurations
• Support RMF assessment and authorization activities, including documentation development and validation
• Conduct ICS/SCADA system inventories, vulnerability scanning, and remediation tracking
• Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and government stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity posture
• Assist with ISO compliance efforts, quality inspections, and continuous cybersecurity improvements

Required Qualifications for the Cybersecurity Specialist 3 include:

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, IT, or risk management in government or regulated environments
• Proficiency with ACAS, HBSS, STIG application, eMASS, and vulnerability management practices
• Strong understanding of DoD RMF lifecycle, NIST 800-53 controls, and ICS security (NIST SP 800-82)
• Bachelor's, Master's, Associate's degree, or equivalent experience in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Active TS/SCI clearance required with eligibility to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph

Compensation for the Cybersecurity Specialist 3 include:

• Salary Range: $100,000-$135,000 *depending on experience*
