This is a full-time direct hire position and you must currently have an active TS/SCI Security Clearance or above. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship, 1099 status, or work with C2C for this role.

What is the Government Services Team and why join?

What will you be doing?

WWT is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to support the requirements of the Air Force Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP). This initiative surrounds the alignment of all Air Force systems in the Air Force Information Network (AFIN). Reviewing cybersecurity programs aligning with the CSSP and providing guidance to system owners on the requirements for alignment. This role requires a blend of cybersecurity expertise, stakeholder coordination, compliance management, and program execution support in a fast-paced federal environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Advise government personnel on risk levels and security posture of the systems requesting alignment with the Air Force CSSP
  • Assure successful implementation and functionality of security requirements and appropriate information technology (IT) policies and procedures that are consistent with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Collect and maintain data needed to meet system cybersecurity reporting.
  • Communicate the value of information technology (IT) security throughout all levels of the organization stakeholders.
  • Continuously validate the organization against policies/guidelines/procedures/ regulations/laws to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure that cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews are coordinated for the network environment.
  • Ensure plans of actions and milestones or remediation provided by the system owner are in place.
  • Evaluate and approve development efforts to ensure baseline security safeguards.
  • Identify alternative information security strategies to address organizational security objectives.
  • Identify non-compliance to determine their impact on levels of risk and/or overall effectiveness of the enterprise's cybersecurity program.
  • Manage the monitoring of information security data sources to maintain organizational situational awareness.
  • Review cybersecurity requirements are integrated into the continuity planning for that system and/or organization(s).
  • Review the environment cybersecurity program plans and requirements.
  • Review policy standards and implementation strategies to ensure procedures and guidelines comply with cybersecurity policies.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting DoD or federal cybersecurity and/or program management efforts.
  • 8140 DCWF 511.
  • 8570 IAT II Certification.
  • CSSP Infrastructure Support certification desired.
  • Knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles used to manage risks.
  • Knowledge of risk management processes.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery continuity of operations plans.
  • Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
  • Knowledge of enterprise incident response program, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data security standards.
  • Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with potential for higher read-ins.
  • Understanding in eMass and accreditation packages used by the DoD.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $130,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
