Job Description

Duties

  • Serves as a first line supervisor with oversight responsibility for a work unit performing mission essential or support activities which facilitate the Banking and e-Commerce mission of USAFMCOM.
  • Supervises civilian and military personnel; manages deployment/training teams; and oversees the implementation and training for new e-Commerce technology in operational and contingency areas.
  • Responsible and accountable for internal processes and administrative, technical, and automated system controls.
  • Plans technical work, establishes priorities, and schedules for work completion. Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.

Qualifications

In addition to meeting the basic requirement, qualified applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-13) in the Federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Specialized experience is defined as: Experience in Planning and prioritizing technical workflows, establishing clear schedules for completion.- Delegate assignments to staff based on strategic priorities, task complexity, and individual capabilities.- Maintaining accountability for internal processes, overseeing administrative, technical, and automated system controls.

You may qualify for consideration if meeting specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.

GS 12 and above: Education is not substitutable for specialized experience at this grade level.
