TTG-296 - Systems Engineer - $315,450 Total Compensation

TTG Solutions is seeking a skilled VDI Engineer to design, implement, and manage virtual desktop infrastructure solutions. We are looking for an expert who can deliver high-performance, scalable, and secure VDI environments while integrating these solutions with cloud services. The VDI Engineer will be responsible for integrating VDI solutions with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for hybrid or cloud-native deployments. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure VDI solutions meet application and user requirements, troubleshooting complex VDI-related issues, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for VDI infrastructure. Additionally, staying informed about emerging VDI and cloud technologies and recommending improvements to the existing infrastructure are key tasks. Generally requires eleven (11) years of experience specific to the skill and relevant training or certifications

Requirements: 11 yrs - 15 yrs 11 mos

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with a minimum of 11 years of work experience
• Experience with VDI solutions such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops
• Strong understanding of hypervisors like Microsoft Hyper-V, AHV, VMware ESXi, or general VM hosting
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
• Familiarity with networking protocols, firewalls, and load balancers
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash, and automation tools like Ansible or Terraform
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Relevant certifications such as Citrix CCA, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Microsoft MCSE
• Experience with cloud-based VDI solutions such as VMware Cloud on AWS or Citrix Cloud
• Knowledge of security best practices and technologies, including IAM, encryption, and threat detection
• Experience with monitoring and analytics tools such as Citrix Director or Nutanix Prism
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices, including CI/CD
• Experience with multiple VDI platforms and the ability to evaluate and recommend new solutions
