Job Description
The Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties requiring utilization of the government's automated work management system and Alutiiq LLC's storage plan. Keeps supervisor apprised of unique situations and problems encountered and identify and reports safety, environmental and other work requirements for resolution.

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Verifies materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, processes "receiving' in both the government's automated work program and Alutiiq LLC's computer program, and routes hard copy documentation to appropriate departments.
- Routes materials to prescribed storage locations, storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, ensuring locations are accurately noted in the government's automated work 'management system.
- Drives company vehicle in order to pick-up materials as well as deliver contract deliverables to correct agencies and materials to worksites as well as obtaining correct signatures on vendor Invoices and Alutiiq LLC purchase orders (PO's).
- Maintains inventory of stored material to identify discrepancies, etc. as directed.
- Operates forklifts.
- Interfaces with customers and responsible for customer feedback, as applicable.
- Operates motor vehicles in accordance with company vehicle policies.
- Compiles with applicable federal, state, United States Air Force (USAF) and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) environmental laws and regulations.
- Complies with health and safety rules and procedures; performs work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment.
- Will at all times wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as determined by position and duties.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Maintaining strict confidentiality of all Alutiiq LLC related matters.
- Accountable for assigned tools, materials and equipment.
- Cleanliness and safety of shop and work areas.
- Unload and inspect supplies and material from various suppliers
- Notify buyer and supplier of shipment discrepancies
- Notify responsible individual of the supplies and material upon arrival
- Enter receipts and information into CMMS
- Create and maintain files for all purchased items and monthly invoices
- Store property in warehouses
- Issue stock items to work orders
- Prepare and ship outgoing items from warehouse
- Annual physical inventory of all warehouses
- Evaluate inventory for usage and excess stock
- Help with disposal of obsolete and excess materials
- Locate requested items and research availability and prices
- Pick up and deliver to/from various locations throughout the outlying areas
- Safely operate handcarts, forklifts and vehicles
- Clean, maintain and schedule repairs for warehouse equipment and vehicles
- Keep an organized and clean warehouse facility
- Assist with security inspections (lock doors and gates)
- Assist with snow removal at warehouse facility
- Run inventory and reordering reports
- Enter daily timesheet and keep monthly spreadsheet matrix
- Attend weekly meetings
- Field phone call and emails from co-worker, suppliers and transport centers
- Deliver mail daily between the administration building and warehouse
- Clerical Duties and Administrative Support
- Maintain office supplies (copier, fax, printer and shredder)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalency.
- Valid state driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of valid insurance.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Minimum 2 years' supply and/or warehouse experience
- Minimum 2 years' Forklift experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses/IDs/certifications.
- Ability to solve problems and work Independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to changes in technology.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional & courteous manner in diverse situations.
- Demonstrated working ability read, write, speak and understand English.
- Obtain or maintain Government approval
- Education Level - High School or Equivalent
- Computer Usage to include experience with Microsoft Office
- Valid Driver's License
- Forklift Operations Required
- Position may require lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Walking, standing for extended periods of time, bending, squatting, reaching over shoulder, pushing, pulling tasks may be needed. Work environment will include outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions and exposure to dust, fumes and/or gases.
