Summary:
• Perform systems engineering, requirements analysis, and software architecture for complex technology solutions.
• Lead software development, integration, and testing.
• Develop technical documentation, ensure system security, and manage dataflows.
• Support DevOps and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 7+ years
• Total Compensation: $222k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Analyze user requirements, concept of operations, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Lead design and development activities, guiding users in formulating requirements and advising on alternative approaches.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develop technical documentation, including system architecture and design documentation.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure compatibility with defined system architectures (DoDAF, SOA).
• Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
• Coordinate resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews.
• Participate in Integrated Product Teams to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of development and operational considerations.
• Define the methods, processes, and evaluation criteria by which systems, subsystems, and work products are verified against their requirements.
• Develop system design solutions that satisfy system requirements and fulfill functional analysis.
• Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements, ensuring completeness, correctness, uniqueness, unambiguousness, realizability, and verifiability.
• Generate alternative system concepts, physical architectures, and design solutions.
• Develop derived requirements for Information Assurance Services (Confidentiality, Integrity, Non-repudiation, Availability) and Security Mechanism Technology (e.g., Passwords, Cryptography, Access Control).
• Review and provide input to program and contract work breakdown structure (WBS), work packages, and the integrated master plan (IMP).
• Support DevOps and Agile/Scrum methodologies, including Software Testing and Integration and Test (I&T).
• Manage Dataflow and System Security, contributing to Software Configuration Management.
