Job Description

Company Description

We were early to the fight against Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance and we've been pushing the edge ever since.

Our mission is to help government and enterprise organizations understand and manage commercial data risks, shape their digital signatures, and operate with confidence in an increasingly complex information landscape. We build and integrate advanced, tech-forward solutions to problems our customers often don't know they have - until it matters most.

We move fast, think critically, and deliver where it counts.

What's in it for you?

We work hard and do fun things.

You'll work on high-impact, technically challenging problems alongside a team that values teamwork over competition. Veilant offers a solid work-life balance and flexible remote work options. At Veilant, you'll work with the most talented software developers, systems engineers, and subject matter experts, building tools and systems that make a real difference.

Job Description

As a Solutions Engineer at Veilant, you will serve as the technical backbone of our business development efforts, helping bridge customer needs, technical solutions, and sales strategy. You will partner closely with our business development, delivery, engineering, and product teams to understand customer requirements, design tailored solutions, and deliver compelling demonstrations that help drive mission impact and win new business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, customer engagement, collaboration, and problem solving. The right person will be comfortable translating complex technical concepts into clear, mission focused solutions while helping customers understand the value of Veilant's capabilities.

  • Take ownership of the demo environment, ensuring it remains current, client ready, and aligned with the needs of the business development team.
  • Consistently support business development efforts by leading technical demos, answering customer questions, and serving as a trusted technical voice in customer meetings.
  • Establish a regular feedback pipeline with CIO, product owners, engineering, and delivery teams by sharing customer insights, bug reports, feature requests, and recommendations that help improve Veilant's solutions.
  • Build strong working relationships across business development, product, delivery, and technical teams to ensure customer needs are clearly understood and translated into actionable solutions.

Technical Demonstrations and Solution Evangelism

Deliver compelling product and solution demonstrations tailored to customer needs. Clearly explain technical capabilities, address questions, and handle objections in real time.

Pre Sales Support

Partner with business development teams to ensure technical accuracy and clarity across proposals, customer briefings, presentations, and solution narratives.

Product Feedback and Continuous Improvement

Serve as a bridge between customers and internal product teams by sharing actionable feedback, identifying gaps, reporting bugs, and recommending enhancements that improve Veilant's offerings.

Cross Functional Collaboration

Work closely with CIO, engineering, product, delivery, and business development teams to align customer requirements with current and future product capabilities.
