🚀 Azure Systems Engineer – Platform Ownership Role 💰 $180K–$225K 🌎 Remote w/occasional travel to NOVA & Tampa 🔐 Active Secret Clearance Required at a Minimum will hold all the way up to a full-scope. This is in support of a DOD SOF Customer based in Tampa. This is not a maintenance role. This is not a migration support role. This is not a ticket queue position. We are hiring a hands-on Microsoft Azure Systems Engineer who has personally built, operated, and matured production Azure environments. If you have designed VNets, deployed private endpoints, implemented Conditional Access, enforced RBAC, automated infrastructure with Terraform, and owned real incident response, this is the level we are talking about. You will: ⚙️ Architect and harden Azure infrastructure 🌐 Own networking design including VNets, NSGs, firewall, hybrid connectivity 🔑 Implement Entra ID, Conditional Access, and least privilege access models 📦 Drive Infrastructure as Code discipline using Terraform 📊 Strengthen monitoring, logging, and resiliency 🛡 Improve security posture in regulated environments 🔥 Eliminate drift and manual builds This role is about platform maturity, automation, and ownership. We are looking for someone who prefers fixing root causes over symptoms and takes pride in building infrastructure that scales without chaos.
