Hourly Rate: $58.89 – 68.41
Conversion Salary: $120,489 – 132,921
Clearance Required: Top Secret
Required Skills & Experience
• 3–7 years of systems/communications engineering (full lifecycle)
• Clearance Required: Top Secret
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• System integration and external interfaces
• Test planning, execution, and validation (V&V)
• Conducting trade studies (cost, schedule, performance, security)
• Experience with secure/resilient system design
• Exposure to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) or digital engineering
• Strong documentation and briefing skills
• Risk management aligned with Air Force standards
• Familiarity with DoDI 8140 (631/632)
• Basic knowledge of encryption/key management
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Current TS/SCI
• Experience in NC3 or strategic communications
• Knowledge of satellite communications and frequency
• Exposure to quantum or advanced encryption
• Experience with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) / Open Management Solutions (OMS)
• SWAP-C analysis experience
• Experience in setting standards or leading technical decisions
