Fabrication Specialists (Mechanical, Electrical & TPS) – Space Program
We’re actively hiring Fabrication Specialists to support a cutting-edge aerospace program at Kennedy Space Center, FL. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to advanced spaceflight hardware and work alongside industry leaders in a high-impact environment. If you have experience in mechanical assembly, electrical systems, or thermal protection systems (TPS), we want to connect with you!
What You’ll Be Working On:
• A focus of one of ther three
o Assembly of mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical components
o Installation of wire harnesses, tubing, valves, fittings, and structural components
o Application of thermal protection systems (TPS), coatings, and primers
• Performing soldering, wiring, and circuit troubleshooting
• Interpreting and working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Conducting measurements, inspections, and quality checks
• Supporting testing, fabrication, and system integration activities
What We’re Looking For:
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following:
o Mechanical assembly (hydraulics, structures, tubing)
o Electrical work (wiring, soldering, harness installation)
o TPS/chemical applications (coatings, foam, primers)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
• Willingness to work various shifts and onsite full-time
• High school diploma or GED + relevant experience
Nice to Have:
• Aerospace, aviation, or spaceflight manufacturing experience
• Cleanroom experience
• Experience working with NASA or similar programs
• Knowledge of complex assemblies, materials (aluminum, titanium, composites), or chemical processes
