Job Description
In support of the Air Force Information Network (AFIN), Network/Cyberspace Operations mission, performing Management/Execution of Operations Support Activities for subordinate staff across all shifts.
This position supports the 688 th Cyberspace Wing (688 CW) as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in managing/coordinating cleared defense contractor (CDC) support teams across Service Transition, Change Management, Project Management, Performance Measurement, Information Assurance, Vulnerability Analysis, Automation/Software Development, Command Support Staff, and additional functional area teams, as required. The Operations Support Manager provides input, prepares documents, and briefs Senior Leaders/Commanders across Department of War (DoW), Cyber Operations, and related mission partners.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
General
- Hiring Manager - Participates in candidate recruitment, interview, selection and on-boarding activities
- Responsible to Site Lead for the Management/Execution of PWS Support Activities for subordinate staff across all shifts
- Responsible for Data collection and reporting of performance activities in weekly and monthly activity reports
- First level of escalation for Government shift leads to resolve performance issues with subordinate staff
- Assists in the development and delivery of all contract related deliverables for the site assigned
- Acts as alternate Site Lead, available during core duty hours (0900 to 1500 Local), Monday through Friday, except Federal Holidays, to meet with GPM, COR or Government shift lead to discuss program, staff performance and/or technical issues
- Shall attend scheduled staff meetings, as requested by the GPM /COR
- Responsible for developing/managing shift schedules across subordinate teams
Functional Area Management
Service Transition Teams
- Directs Change Management, Service Transition Coordination, Release and Deployment, and Configuration and Asset Management teams to deconflict multiple ongoing, simultaneous tasks, from across the AFIN ,and prioritize 688 CW designated tasks
Project Management Team (PM)
- Consults with the lead Project Manager regarding project timelines, costs, and customer/mission partner feedback to identify current operating procedures, problems, and requirements for Automation/Software Development, Performance Measurement, Information Assurance/Risk Management Framework functional teams
- Meets with Government/Military customers to gather requirements and directs research, analysis, and design of information systems, custom code/queries, and products to meet the needs of organizational leadership and integrate with existing and future systems
Vulnerability Analysis Team
- Manages requests for support and analysis from enterprise customers and directs contracted SMEs to support current operational priorities and knowledge sharing with mission partners
Commander's Support Staff (CSS)
- Coordinates with staff to support Command priorities, manage schedules, review documentation, conduct senior-level briefings, and provide SME consults upon request
Client Support Technician (CST) Team
- Monitors and supports Command-level/VIP tickets for support through management of CST team members
Education & Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree, or equivalent related experience; 10+ years of DoW/Cyber work experience
Certifications
- Required: IAT II/IAM II = Sec+ (CE), Sec X (CE)
- Desired: CISM, CISSP, PMP
Security Clearance
- Required: TS/SCI

- Day Shift. This is a 24/7/365 mission and extended hours/days may be required
