Job Description
Spectric Labs is seeking a Software Engineer with experience in developing, maintaining, and
improving complex and diverse software systems. In this role, you will conduct research,
engineering, and develop innovative solutions to support operational systems. This is a great
opportunity for an engineer who loves technology and enjoys solving complex problems.
Key Responsibilities
• Create new tools and applications using various software languages, frameworks, and
libraries.
• Improve and optimize existing applications to better fulfill customer and operational needs.
• Upgrade legacy operational systems by updating their software framework with the latest
technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in software development.
• Software life cycle management (and related tools) and the ability to develop reliable,
production-quality software.
• Knowledge of multiple programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, and Python.
• Web server and database development.
, • Common network protocol structures.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
• Security+ or the ability to obtain certification.
• Springboot and Java, Maven, and Gradle build system tools.
