Required Skills & Experience

* TS/SCI
* 3+ years of experience with DEAMS (Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System) or GFEBS (General Fund Enterprise Business System)
* DOD FM level II certification or higher (ex: CDFM)
* 3 + years of experience in a Financial Management Analyst Role

Insight Global is seeking an experienced, technically proficient, Financial Management Analyst to join our team at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities:
Summarize budgets and submit recommendations for the approval or disapproval of funds requests.
Analyze monthly department budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls.
Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations.
Compile and analyze accounting records and other data to determine the financial resources required to implement a program.
Review operating budgets to analyze trends affecting budget needs.
Match appropriations for specific programs with appropriations for broader programs, including items for emergency funds.
Seek new ways to improve operational efficiency and increase profits
