DESCRIPTION:
Ascendant Innovations Corp is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Level 2). The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems). Additionally, the Software Engineer will review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Experience with Linux environment
Proficient with Java
Knowledge of AWS architecture
Knowledge of Terraform

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university and fourteen (14) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
OR
Eighteen (18) years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret/SCI w/polygraph.
