Position Overview

We are seeking a Research and Operations Specialist (Full Performance level) to support mission-critical research and document management operations within a classified Intelligence Community environment. This role is part of a search and research team responsible for conducting complex queries, retrieving and validating documents from large-scale classified repositories, and ensuring accurate and timely intelligence reference services across the IC. The successful candidate will apply strong research skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail to support document library operations, quality assurance processes, and data integrity efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed searches and queries across multiple classified and structured databases
  • Identify, review, and validate documents within large-scale repositories
  • Detect and assess duplicate documents within document management systems
  • Record findings and decisions in customer automated systems
  • Support maintenance and organization of classified document libraries and archives
  • Scan and process hardcopy, electronic, microfilm, and database records as required
  • Prepare written reports and memoranda documenting research findings and quality assurance results
  • Support remediation recommendations based on document review and analysis
  • Respond to data calls and rapid research requirements under tight deadlines
  • Collaborate with team members and technical stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete data handling


Required Skills

  • Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
  • 1-5 years of experience searching/querying databases and adapting quickly to new systems
  • Strong ability to learn and operate new research and information systems
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment
  • Experience responding to data calls and time-sensitive operational requests
  • Strong collaboration skills with clients, colleagues, and technical teams
  • Self-starter mindset with ability to proactively seek clarification when needed
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, accurate results under tight deadlines
