Job Description

SUVI Global Services is looking for a Network Engineer to support IT across all DoD OIG networks. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, implementation and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure across a geographically dispersed environment serving over 2,000 users.
  • Configure and manage LAN/WAN systems, VPN connectivity, and hybrid network environments that integrate on-premises and cloud-based platforms.
  • Assist in monitoring network performance, conducting capacity planning, and ensuring compliance with DoD OIG security policies and federal cybersecurity standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents, support the deployment of network hardware and software, and contribute to the integration of VoIP and VVOIP systems.
  • Play a role in implementing network changes, supporting disaster recovery efforts, and maintaining accurate network documentation.


  • Sustain secure and reliable network operations while collaborating closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.


Qualifications

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in computer science, information systems, information technology, engineering, telecommunications, or related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Active IAT Level II certification or equivalent and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
  • 6-8 years of IT experience with at least 5 years of experience with enterprise network design, implementation, and management.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing complex WAN/LAN environments supporting 1,000+ users across multiple geographic locations.
  • Experience with VPN services to include provisioning, monitoring, and the management of site-to-site VPN connectivity and remote user access solutions.
  • Experience with hybrid network environments integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud network services.
  • Experience with network capacity planning, performance monitoring, and threshold management for enterprise-scale networks.
  • Must have strong foundation in routing, switching and network security.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Preferred: Master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, related field
  • Preferred: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 or later; Cisco CCNP/CCIE Certifications.
