Job Description
Job Title: Avionics Engineering Technician/Drafter
Duration: 12-month Contract To Hire
Location: Eglin AFB
Conversion Salary: $90,000 – 100,000 (some flex to $110,000)
Required Skills & Experience
· Minimum Experience: 3+ years in aircraft instrumentation design, modification, or installation
· Software Proficiency: Experience with AutoCAD, including AutoCAD Electrical
· Knowledge Areas:
· Military, SAE, IEEE, and ANSI standards for airworthiness and safety
· Military parts specifications and ordering requirements
· Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team environment
· Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret clearance
· Education: HS diploma or GED
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Experience with F-15 or F-16 aircraft instrumentation and modification
· Experience in assisting with project cost and schedule estimates
· Excellent problem-solving skills
· Strong technical communication skills
· Bachelor’s degree
Job Description
· Develop electronic systems and components for use within equipment or machinery.
· Support other engineers to complete tasks as necessary.
· Apply advanced advisory skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge.
· Create innovative solutions to complex problems.
· Work independently with minimal direction, while mentoring and supervising team members.
