Graphic Designer

QualX is seeking a Graphic Designer onsite in Bethesda, MD. Responsibilities include:
• Develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
• Utilizes request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests
• Coordinates with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience
• Creates graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
• Develop design concepts and implement designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online
• Ensures products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
• Conducts technical quality checks
• Manages an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles
• Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps
• Requires BA/BS and 3 years of experience or no degree and 9 years of experience.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance required
• Experience with the following:
o Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
o Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS
o Photography and video editing
o Mentoring and trains junior staff
o Creating graphics products that provide engaging and user-friendly experience
o Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
o Developing design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online
o Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
o Conducting technical quality checks
