Position: MECM Systems Engineer
Clearance: Public Trust or higher
Length: 6 month contract to hire
Must Haves:
• 10+ years of experience in endpoint management, desktop engineering, or enterprise systems administration
• Must have an Active Public Trust or higher clearance
• Strong expertise in MECM/SCCM administration, including OSD, task sequences, software distribution, patching, and imaging
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for device lifecycle management (policies, compliance, apps, profiles)
• Deep knowledge of Windows Autopilot, including deployment profiles, enrollment, and provisioning (Hybrid AD & Entra ID)
• Experience with zero-touch deployments and co-management (MECM + Intune), including workload transitions
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory for device and identity integration
• Advanced knowledge of Windows 10/11 deployment, configuration, and enterprise imaging strategies
• Proficiency in PowerShell for automation, reporting, and custom solutions
• Experience designing and supporting end-to-end device deployment across MECM/SCCM, Intune/Autopilot, co-management, and Entra ID/AD
Plusses:
• Experience supporting a government customer
• Technical writing to improve documentation and processes
Day to Day:
A customer of Insight Global is looking for a MECM Systems Engineer to sit fully remote. They will be responsible for managing the end-to-end imaging and deployment lifecycle utilizing Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Intune, and AutoPilot for a large government customer. They will be leading the processes that ensure efficient management of a standardized image deployment workflow to provision new devices with consistent configurations, settings, and applications. They will be working alongside the team lead to consult both the technical team and the government customer.
