The Facilities Manager oversees the maintenance, safety, and functionality of organizational facilities, ensuring all buildings, equipment, and systems operate efficiently. They manage facility upgrades, coordinate repairs, implement safety and compliance measures, and lead a team of professionals to maintain operational excellence while supporting organizational objectives.

Pay Range :
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The Opportunity:

They manage facility upgrades, coordinate repairs, implement safety and compliance measures, and lead a team of professionals to maintain operational excellence while supporting organizational objectives.
Responsibilities:
The Facilities Manager shall possess the following capabilities:
- Train, monitor and review all facility and site maintenance work performed by Local National Laborers to ensure tasks are executed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Report all concerns, problems, and/or inefficiencies identified.
- Assist in the initiation, administration, and management of contracts awarded to local commercial firms (e.g. Grounds contracts and HVAC contracts) and recommend solutions to the Government and Local National Laborers for all site facilities maintenance.
- Interpret structural dynamics for the purpose of ensuring the safety and operation of the facility and its exterior structures such as the antennas, towers and perimeter fencing.
- Interpret power systems for the purpose of ensuring the safety and operation of the facility's power infrastructure such as the transformers, UPS systems, power distribution, and generators.
- Perform and coordinate a simulated loss of island power and initializing the facility's internal power generation without any loss in mission.
- Perform, coordinate, and validate operational performance inspections on generator systems, HVAC systems, UPS systems and plumbing (fluid and air) systems.
- Plan and oversee facility improvements and enhancements.
- Ensure all buildings and equipment are well maintained and functioning efficiently.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and mitigate hazards
Qualifications:
Required:
- Ten (I0) years' experience in power systems operations/ maintenance, high voltage equipment, electrical switchgear, and UPS systems.
- Four (4) years' experience in monitoring and administering facilities contracts.
- Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph
