Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Conduct offensive cyber operations and adversarial threat emulation against mission systems
Identify, exploit, and demonstrate vulnerabilities in embedded and operational platforms
Perform vulnerability research across hardware, software, and mission system architectures
Simulate real-world attack scenarios to uncover undetectable threats
Demonstrate how vulnerabilities could degrade or impact mission capability
Develop proof-of-concept exploits and provide actionable findings to stakeholders
Evaluate both technical systems and operational processes for security weaknesses
Support system-level risk analysis and vulnerability mitigation strategies
Required Experience
10+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience with focus on:
Red Team operations / offensive cyber
Adversarial threat emulation (TTPs)
Vulnerability research and exploitation
Proven ability to:
Find vulnerabilities others cannot detect
Demonstrate real-world impact (system disruption, degradation, or access)
Experience working in mission-critical or classified environments
Preferred Certifications
OSCP (highly preferred)
Offensive Security certifications (OSF or similar)
RTACT / RTAC
Red Team Journeyman Course
CEH alone is not sufficient
Technical Skills
Offensive tooling experience:
Metasploit
Custom exploit development (plus)
Programming:
Python preferred
C++ highly desired
Experience with legacy systems (e.g., COBOL) is a plus
Environment & Domain Focus
Military aircraft and weapons systems (e.g., F-35, missile platforms)
Embedded and operational systems (not traditional enterprise IT)
Platform-level networks and data buses (non-TCP/IP environments)
