This position will ensure continued operational capability through software maintenance, defect resolution, upgrades, and system enhancements.

Position Overview
The GARRETT GROUP is seeking a Software Sustainment Engineer to maintain and enhance mission-critical software applications, databases, and automation systems supporting NSIC's intelligence operations. This position will ensure continued operational capability through software maintenance, defect resolution, upgrades, and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance operational software applications and databases.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
- Develop and maintain scripts, automation solutions, and workflows.
- Perform requirements analysis and software testing.
- Support software release management and configuration control processes.
- Implement upgrades, patches, and application enhancements.
- Maintain technical documentation, release notes, and user guides.
- Support mission-critical operations and surge requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of software engineering or software sustainment experience.
- Experience with software lifecycle management, version control, and application support.
- Knowledge of databases, scripting languages, and secure software development practices.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
