Position Overview

The GARRETT GROUP is seeking an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) Non-Earth Imagery (NEI) Flight. The ISSO will be responsible for ensuring the security, compliance, and operational integrity of classified Special Access Program (SAP) information systems supporting critical space intelligence missions. This position plays a key role in maintaining cybersecurity compliance, supporting authorization and accreditation activities, implementing continuous monitoring programs, and ensuring adherence to JSIG, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) and continuous monitoring activities.
• Implement and validate cybersecurity controls in accordance with JSIG and RMF requirements.
• Maintain security documentation, artifacts, POA&Ms, SSPs, and compliance records.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking.
• Support configuration management and cybersecurity audits.
• Monitor classified network security posture and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with system administrators, security managers, and government stakeholders.
• Support incident response, risk assessments, and security investigations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience supporting classified information systems.
• Experience with RMF, JSIG, STIGs, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Experience supporting SAP and SCI environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
