Information Systems Security Officer – Level 3



Bogart Associates is looking for a talented Level 3 Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join our growing team! In this role you will develop, maintain, and implement information security standards, procedures, and guidelines for applications and databases. In addition, you will ensure that systems and organizational databases are protected from unauthorized access and use, and monitor systems, identify threats, and handle disaster recovery operations.



What Skills You’ll Bring:

• Expertise with configuration management, system maintenance, and integration testing
  
• Ability to troubleshoot technical configurations and make recommendations on the protection of classified and sensitive data
  
• Expert in the use of tools used to prevent and or negate malicious code
  
• Expert in detecting and preventing computer security compromises in a networked environment
  
• Knowledge in forensics chain of custody and evidentiary preservation
  
• Demonstrated proficiency in successfully guiding complex information systems through assessment and authorization control gates
  
• Analytical abilities to decipher complex technical configuration management documents
  
• Proficient in maintaining databases
  
• Thorough working knowledge of all applicable policies, procedures and operating instructions related to IT/IA/IM
  
• Demonstrated ability to work independent of close supervision
  
•  Expert ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working relationships with government and contractor program managers, security professionals, and mission partners
  
• Ability to effectively provide ISSO guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 ISSOs
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph
  
• Bachelor’s Degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience. Additional education can count in lieu of years of experience, and additional years of experience can count in lieu of a degree
  
• DOD 8570 IAT Level III Profession Certification is required (NOTE: certification must be obtained within 6 months from position start date)
