Job Description

Mindbank Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support a federal public health program. The successful candidate will develop and maintain modern web applications using .NET, React, SQL/PostgreSQL, and AWS technologies while working as part of an Agile team. This is a direct hire role; our client offers stellar benefits. Salary is up to $115K/year and is based on each candidate’s professional experience and skills.

Candidates MUST reside within reasonable driving distance of one of these locations.
This position is remote following required in-person badging and equipment issuance at a government facility in Atlanta, GA; Hyattsville, MD; Pittsburgh, PA; Morgantown, WV; Cincinnati, OH; or Fort Collins, CO.

• Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident and successfully complete a background investigation prior to start. (Please note that EAD holders are not U.S. Permanent Residents.)

This Full Stack Developer position resolves complex problems by delivering complete end-to-end solutions within a fast, agile environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong appetite for learning and the skills required to take software and systems from initial vision through production readiness. Working with modern architectural approaches, tools, and technologies, the successful candidate will help shape systems and solutions that align with current operating environments while accommodating future functionality and enhancements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Foster open communication with stakeholders including product managers, executives, and customers, providing regular updates on project status and milestones and addressing any concerns.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing web applications using modern frameworks such as React and TypeScript, ensuring seamless user experiences across platforms.
• Partner with backend developers, architects, and DevOps engineers to integrate front-end and back-end components using technologies like C#, .NET, and SQL/PostgreSQL.
• Utilize Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps best practices to maintain code quality, ensure secure deployments, and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance while recommending design and architectural improvements.
• Support application development and deployment within AWS and other cloud environments, leveraging cloud-native tools for scalability and reliability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, contribute to solution design discussions, and apply emerging technologies and frameworks to improve team efficiency and delivery.

REQUIRED:

• U.S. Citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents only
• Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance (candidates must have lived continuously in the United States or a U.S. territory for the past three years; military and government employee exceptions may apply)
• At least three (3) years of professional experience with designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications with .NET and React
• Experience with SQL (Postgres preferred) databases, familiarity with NoSQL technologies
• Experience working in an Agile scrum team
• Ability to use back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions

PREFERRED:

• Three (3) years of broader engineering experience involving architecture, design patterns, testing, requirements gathering, and problem-solving
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
• Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
• Master's degree
