Essential Job Responsibilities
- Administer unit support programs such as (but not limited to) Vehicle Control Officer, facility management, task management, safety, security, and monitor Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accounts.
- Schedule and track vehicle scheduled/unscheduled maintenance as required. Prepare vehicles for deployment, transfer and disposition.
- Inspect, identify and correct minor work facility discrepancies. work with base Civil Engineers to fix major building repairs and/or safety related issues.
- Research, purchase, stock, and issue pilot specific equipment. Coordinate with unit Resource Advisor for funding to replenish stock when required.
- Serve as the primary source of information regarding unit support programs, to include the preparation, maintenance, and deposition of required administrative reports and other correspondence.
- Assist the commander/director, in accomplishing all necessary internal operations to include administrative training, security, development of organizational operating instructions and regulations.
- Assist in planning for and coordinating the implementation and compliance with higher echelon policy and procedural requirements.
- Disseminate information concerning new or changed procedures/regulations.
- Identify and implement processes that may be improved or made more efficient through application of automated technology or other methods.
- Train, orient, and oversee the duties and work products of squadron POCs. Suspense and/or prioritize work. Develop and implement procedures to track program status and maintain program health.
- Perform other clerical and administrative work as required.
- Develop, establish, update, and maintain office procedures of various types to ensure effective and efficient operation of the office.
- Provide advice and guidance to staff in the organization on administrative, clerical, and procedural requirements.
- Update tracker or suspense files for unclassified documents as required. IAW established procedures, prepare, consolidate, submit, and maintain time and attendance records. Assist project officer in arranging for command sponsored events ensuring proper protocol is followed.
Minimum Qualifications
- 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience working in a Fighter Squadron/Group/Wing Commander's Support Section.
- Experience working with Air Force or DoD computer programs, sites, or software.
Physical Requirements
- Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
