Job Description:
Client is looking for a Senior Data Scientist in the Miami/Doral area to support NGA and USSOUTHCOM. In this role you will develop methods for querying, visualizing, aggregating, correlating, and analyzing big data across intelligence disciplines. Optimize databases, expose new datasets, build custom tools, and apply mathematical concepts to solve complex geospatial intelligence analysis problems.
Responsibilities
• An understanding of Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCOs) operating within the USSOUTHCOM AOR
• An understanding of coca cultivation and production areas Familiarity with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 203 (Analytic Standards) and ICD 206
• An understanding of how to operationalize the analytic output-shape/frame it in a way that supports operational planning
Required Qualifications
• They must have a background with intelligence experience, where they provided analysis and/or data science to an intelligence mission.
• They must be able to operate at a senior level and in an independent environment.
• They must be proficient at creating processes around large data sets to identify analytical discoveries,
• They must be able to script at a Senior Level in python.
• Must be able to take these discoveries and provide them through visualizations that are easily integrated into daily operations.
