What you’ll own


You’ll operate with autonomy on complex, mission-critical infrastructure — challenging problems and a team that trusts your judgment.

• Manage performance and efficiency of servers across multi-OS environments


• Maintain data security, system integrity, and administrator accounts


• Design and implement high-availability solutions: failover clusters, SQL Server FCI, and AlwaysOn Availability Groups


• Own backup, restore, migration, and database snapshot strategies


• Optimize Oracle 19c and SQL Server for mission-speed data access


• Monitor and manage SQL Server Agent alerts and jobs


• Build and maintain efficient table structures for both transactional and warehouse data


• Lead database migrations across MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle environments


• Develop and enforce testing strategies, policies, and performance standards


• Advise end-users on performance tuning and best practices


• Maintain current knowledge of relevant and emerging technologies

What you bring to the table


Must-haves

• Active TS/SCI clearance


• 5+ years of SQL database analysis and/or administration experience


• Hands-on experience with failover clusters, SQL Server FCI, and AlwaysOn Availability Groups


• Experience building and maintaining efficient table structures (OLTP and data warehouse)


• Experience with database backup, restore, migration, and snapshot technologies


• Experience monitoring, creating, and managing SQL Server Agent alerts


• S. in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience

Strong differentiators

• Oracle 19c administration and performance tuning expertise


• Migration experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL


• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 certification


• Oracle database administration background

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $135-$140k.
