The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a SilentDagger program -SME IV- Cybersecurity Engineer who will be responsible for securing, maintaining, and supporting communications and network systems within a DoD C4ISR environment. This role ensures system integrity, operational readiness, and compliance with government standards while delivering technical training to users on secure system operations. The position combines hands-on cybersecurity engineering, system lifecycle support, and user training to enhance mission effectiveness.

The position combines hands-on cybersecurity engineering, system lifecycle support, and user training to enhance mission effectiveness.
Job Duties
- Deliver cybersecurity and technical training using blended learning methods, including hands-on labs, simulations, and real-world scenarios.
- Conduct training in classroom, virtual, and operational environments (CONUS/OCONUS).
- Ensure all training and system activities comply with government-approved standards, policies, and program guidelines.
- Provide lifecycle support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for secure communications and network systems.
- Perform repair, replacement, and maintenance of satellite ground terminals, baseband, and network equipment.
- Monitor, analyze, and support secure system performance to ensure continuous operational readiness.
- Support installation, configuration, and secure operation of network infrastructure and communication systems.
- Assist in system testing, evaluation, and validation to ensure cybersecurity and operational requirements are met.
- Develop, maintain, and submit training records, system documentation, and compliance reports.
- Provide regular status updates on training progress, system performance, and technical issues.
- Educate users on secure system usage, network fundamentals, and cybersecurity best practices.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
- Twelve (12) years of hands-on experience supporting DoD C4ISR or secure communications systems.
- Experience in at least three (3) of the following areas:
- Systems Requirements
- Operational Requirements
- Test & Evaluation
- Training
- Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, secure network operations, or C4ISR systems.
- Experience supporting system maintenance, troubleshooting, and secure operations in mission-critical environments.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Cybersecurity certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH).
- Experience delivering technical or cybersecurity training.
- Knowledge of network protocols, LAN administration, and secure communications.
- Experience with Windows-based operating systems and system security.
- Understanding of satellite communications and secure system design.
- Experience in system design, development, testing, and cybersecurity evaluation.
- Formal training or instructional certification.
