Expert Level Cyber Security Engineer
What You'll Do:
As part of our cybersecurity team, you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and refining enterprise-wide security services. You'll help define both the current ("As-Is") and future ("To-Be") security architecture across a wide range of areas, including:

What You'll Do:

You'll also provide technical guidance to help programs develop secure systems and applications-accelerating delivery by ensuring alignment with ICD-503 controls and future cybersecurity directives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cybersecurity engineering support to teams developing new systems or upgrading legacy ones.
- Conduct independent product research and Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) to identify optimal security solutions.
- Lead and contribute to system concept development and early lifecycle phases, translating requirements and regulations into secure system designs.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to develop and document Security Architectures, Roadmaps, and investment strategies.
- Advise programs on technical solutions and policy improvements to meet Zero Trust compliance goals.
Education and Experience
Required:
- Master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or 18 years of experience as a Cyber Security Engineer in lieu of degree.
- 18 years of working experience in government or industry leading enterprise-level cyber security efforts involving architecting, designing, development, and configuration of cloud and on premise-based systems and software.
- Experience engineering Cyber Security solutions using Cloud Based Technology such as: Service Orientated Architecture (SOA), On-demand self-service, Broad network access, Resource pooling, Rapid elasticity, Measured Service, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
- DoD 8570 Level II (IASAE) certification compliance
Desired:
- Experience engineering Cyber Security solutions using structured and unstructured Big Data.
- Experience engineering Cyber Security solutions using Automation, Augmentation and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
- Experience establishing a mature Zero Trust framework in one or more of the seven DoD ZT pillars: user, device, data, application/workload, network/environment, visibility and analytics, and automation and orchestration.
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI clearance and the willingness to sit for a CI polygraph, if needed
