OVERVIEW
Full-time/Permanent Employee
Location: Hybrid Remote/Boston, MA or Montgomery, AL
As a Cloud Administrator III, you will maintain smooth operation of different cloud-based systems, including coordination with network administrators. Sets up administrator and service accounts, maintains system documentation for cloud infrastructure and tenant inventory, tunes system performance, installs system wide software and allocates mass storage space. Respond to large-scale events involving instantiation of virtual resources such VMs and storage. Fix critical software and system failures. Propose, drive and implement technical solutions for automation, efficiency and scalability. Develop/improve tools, reports, and processes to monitor the health of cloud environment.
The proposed salary for this position is up to $91,570. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline with at least 4 years of relevant cloud experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer and maintain Azure IL6 cloud environments in support of mission and operational requirements.
- Provision, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure resources, virtual machines, storage, networking, and platform services.
- Support implementation and maintenance of security controls, patches, and compliance requirements within IL6 environments.
- Monitor system health, performance, availability, and capacity to ensure reliable cloud operations.
- Manage user access, permissions, and identity services in accordance with security and governance policies.
- Assist with deployment automation and infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
- Support incident response, issue resolution, and root cause analysis for cloud infrastructure and operational events.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, and operations teams to maintain secure and compliant cloud environments.
- Maintain operational documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configuration records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cloud administration, operational efficiency, and system reliability.
- Ensure 100% of planned hours are worked and recorded
- Identify and forward to leadership any opportunities that could lead to growth within your work area
- Participate in growth efforts as requested
- Ensure all contractual deliverables are met or exceeded to the customer's satisfaction
- Complete personal PDP and attend staff meetings and Storytime (with camera on)
- Build productive and positive professional relationships with clients within your program
- Execute all contract requirements as assigned in accordance with the contract-specific LCAT and requirements
KEY QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience administering and supporting cloud environments within Microsoft Azure environments.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, identity management, and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, vulnerability management, patching, and compliance requirements in regulated environments.
- Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, system performance, connectivity, and operational issues.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and configuration management practices.
- DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification
- At least one cloud certification
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on experience with public or private cloud deployments
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure best practices and industry standards
- Experience in network and domain administration
- Familiarity with cloud-based automation tools and methodologies
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
