Strategic Analysis, Inc. seeking a candidate to provide BAA solicitation support. The successful candidate will support the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in managing and developing programs in high-risk, high-reward research and development (R&D) projects. The candidate is expected to function as part of a strongly collaborative scientific and technical team, but also to act independently to complete time-critical tasks. The candidate must be comfortable in working at security levels across the spectrum from unclassified open discussion potentially with foreign nationals to collateral classified programs with validated higher levels of need-to-know. 

Required Capabilities and Characteristics:



1.) The solicitation Coordinator to support our scientific teams in developing, managing, and executing program solicitations. 

2.) The Solicitation Coordinator will serve as a liaison between scientific teams, administrative staff, and external stakeholders, facilitating the creation and posting of solicitations, managing proposal submissions, and supporting conflict of interest (COI) processes.  

3.) Experience in program coordination, project management, or administrative support, ideally in a scientific or research environment. 

4.) Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 

5.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

6.) Familiarity with solicitation, proposal, and review processes in government, academic, or industry settings is highly desirable. 

7.) Proficiency with office productivity software and document management systems. 

8.) Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities: 



1.) This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the solicitation process, from initial program needs assessment through proposal receipt and review.           

2.) Collaborate with scientific teams to understand program needs and goals, translating them into effective solicitation documents. 

3.) Guide teams through the solicitation development process, ensuring compliance with office and agency policies. 

4.) Coordinate the posting of solicitations, abstracts, and related documents to appropriate platforms. 

5.) Manage the receipt and tracking of all proposals, abstracts, and related submissions. 

6.) Facilitate the completion and collection of COI forms from reviewers and participants. 

7.) Assign submitted abstracts and proposals to appropriate reviewers.

8.) Maintain accurate records and databases of solicitations, submissions, and review assignments. 

9.) Serve as a point of contact for questions regarding solicitation procedures and requirements. 

10.) Support continuous improvement of solicitation and review processes, to specifically include AI and LLM tools that are available to the government. 

11.) Other duties as assigned.

 

Education: Bachelor's degree.

Clearance: DoD TS/SCI security clearance is preferred, must have a secret clearance.
