Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including algorithm development and large data set manipulation.
• Conduct software testing, requirements analysis, and contribute to software architecture and systems engineering, considering hardware/software trade-offs.
• Utilize Java, Spring, MongoDB, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Apply DevOps and Continuous Integration practices.
• Perform database engineering, apply mathematical models in design, and provide technical team leadership.
• Document software and system processes.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or 4 additional years equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 12+ years
• Total Compensation: $306k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
• Work individually or as part of a team to review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
• Resolve software problem reports and utilize appropriate software development and design methodologies.
• Provide specific input to the software components of system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis and synthesis.
• Apply expertise in Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Kafka, JMS, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD practices.
• Contribute to Algorithm Development, Cloud repository/Big Data solutions, Database Engineering, DevOps, Software Architecture, Software Testing, and Systems Engineering.
• Engage in Communications/Technical Writing and provide Technical Team Leadership.
