MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Army National Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion).
Maximum Military Grade - MSG (E-8) with date of rank after 04 August 2021
GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Must possess experience, education or training which has provided a knowledge and skill in locating and tying in the electrical systems with the aircraft armament, electronics and instrument systems; adjusting and calibrating the components of the various electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
WG-10 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess specialized experience that indicates a thorough knowledge of inspecting, aligning, repairing and overhauling aircraft electrical systems on both fixed and/or rotary wing aircraft. The specialized experience must also include diagnosing trouble and determining remedy when complex relationships exist among different electrical system circuits, requiring complete knowledge of all electrical units and systems, with possibility of serious damage to equipment if incorrectly handled. Experience in the ability to apply theory and instruments to complex problems such as planning, laying out, setting up, and carrying through operations dependent upon use of electrical theory and instruments considered difficult.

- Functionally tests, troubleshoots, inspects, adjusts, aligns, calibrates, repairs and overhauls the entire range of aircraft electrical systems to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
- Performs general, major and limited depot maintenance on Army fixed and/or rotor wing aircraft.
- Selects, operates, maintains and repairs specialized electrical measuring and shop equipment.
- Solves unusual maintenance problems by studying layout drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Performs such travel as may be required in the accomplishment of assigned duties and the organizational mission.
- May assist authorized firefighting in the performance of fire/crash rescue duties.
- Performs other duties as assisgned.

- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
- Acceptance of an Excepted Service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
- Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- Failure to complete management prescribed courses for full-time support personnel within the first year of employment or assignment, may be cause for reassignment or termination.
- This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in the Missouri National Guard prior to the effective date of placement.

- This position can be filled up to four years as long as funds are available to support it.
