Type of Role: Direct Hire (Full-Time, Onsite)
Shift: 9x80 Schedule (Every other Friday off)
Pay: $118,700 – $209,300/year
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an experienced Staff DevSecOps Engineer to support advanced Space AI and national security initiatives within a highly classified aerospace and defense environment. This role is responsible for supporting DevSecOps infrastructure, cloud environments, containerized application deployment, and AI/ML operational workflows supporting mission-critical space programs. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevSecOps practices, and thrives in highly collaborative engineering environments supporting advanced AI/ML and space-domain solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Support DevSecOps infrastructure and secure software deployment activities across advanced Space AI and national security programs
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data scientists, physicists, mathematicians, and AI/ML experts
• Support containerized application environments utilizing technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines supporting automated software deployment and operational efficiency
• Support cloud computing environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Develop and maintain automation workflows supporting AI/ML development and operational deployment activities
• Support machine learning model training, testing, deployment, and operationalization processes
• Contribute to front-end and Python-based software development efforts where required
• Support AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
• Assist with RF, SAR, and EO image processing algorithm support and deployment activities
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and automation issues across highly complex engineering environments
• Participate in Agile and collaborative engineering execution environments supporting mission-critical national security initiatives
• Communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders across highly integrated programs
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Qualifications
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or related tools
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms including AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance required to start
• U.S. Citizenship required
Additional Qualifications
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins and GitLab
• Demonstrated Python software development experience
• Front-end development experience utilizing JavaScript
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Familiarity with RF, SAR, or EO image processing algorithms and techniques
• Experience automating machine learning model training, testing, and deployment workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within highly collaborative, team-based engineering environments
• Experience supporting highly classified aerospace, defense, AI/ML, or national security programs preferred
