TTG-293 - Software Engineer - $329,150 Total Compensation

TTG Solutions is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team, focusing on middleware and backend services. This role involves utilizing your expertise in Solr or Elastic Search and working with big data environments to enhance performance and optimize queries. The Full Stack Developer will support backend development, with key responsibilities including performing schema updates, submitting Lucene queries, and understanding Solr/Elastic shard operations. The role requires tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization and participating in backend Java development, including code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing, to ensure robust deployment in production environments. Generally requires eleven (11) years of experience specific to the skill and relevant training or certifications

Requirements: 11 yrs - 15 yrs 11 mos

• Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years)
• Performing schema updates
• Significant knowledge & experience in submitting Lucene queries
• Significant knowledge & experience on how Solr/Elastic shards work
• Significant experience tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, Pyspark, Spark, and Hbase (prefer at least two of the list)
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, back-end Java development experience implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployed to a production environment
• College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree

• Demonstrated experience working with several AWS services
• Demonstrated experience with JIRA and GITHUB
