Summary

TTG Solutions is seeking an experienced Cryptographic Systems Engineer to join our team, focusing on the configuration, operation, and maintenance of advanced cryptographic devices. We are looking for a proactive individual with deep expertise in cryptographic principles and a passion for providing technical guidance and support.

Description

The key responsibilities of this role include designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex cryptographic systems using General Dynamics devices. The engineer will provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders and develop training documentation. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing crypto devices with GEM software, and actively training personnel.

Experience Level

Subject Matter Expert Normally requires at least sixteen (16) years of experience specific to the skill or occupation. For specific computer languages, systems or technologies, expertise with the subject matter or technology outweighs the number of years of experience.

Requirements: 16 yrs+

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of General Dynamics crypto devices including E-100, FLEX, Micro, Nano, TL-10G, TL-1g, and next generation devices
• Experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex cryptographic systems
• Technical knowledge of cryptographic principles, protocols, and technologies
• Experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues related to crypto devices
• Experience with cryptographic protocols and standards, including encryption, decryption, and key management
• Ability to provide technical guidance and support, including creating training documentation
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with GEM crypto manager(s) software

Optional Skills

• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Familiarity with Sponsor networks and devices, including both new and legacy systems
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with agile project management methodologies
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a matrix environment

Clearance

This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Benefits

Benefit	Details
Base Salary	$151,000 - $182,000
PTO	30 days annual PTO, which includes holidays.
Retirement	15% company retirement contribution. No match required. Vesting period is 50% per year over 2 years.
Paid Benefits	Company pays all insurance expenses up to 8% of base pay. If your insurance expenses are less that that, we bonus the difference to you.
Annual Bonuses	3% to 5% annual bonuses.
Cell Phone Stipend	$100 monthly phone expense reimbursement.
Training Budget	3 paid training days + $2,500 training budget
New Hire Bonus	$5,000 new hire bonus

Total Compensation

Total compensation is the total combination of salary, benefits, retirement, bonuses, etc... and it is calculated using the following formula:

Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits Budget + Retirement + Bonus + Training Budget + Phone Stipend

Retirement	$27,300	15% company retirement contribution. No match required. Vesting period is 50% per year over 2 years.
Benefits Budget	$36,400	20% company paid Individual Benefits Account (12% for 30-days PTO, 8% for Insurances). If your insurance or PTO expenses are less than this, we bonus the difference to you.
Annual Bonus	$9,100	Annual bonus, 3% to 5% on average.
Training Budget	$2,500	Annual training budget.
Training Hours	$2,100	3 paid days for training.
Phone Stipend	$1,200	$100 monthly cell phone stipend.
