Job Title: Senior RF Hardware Engineer

Location: Aurora, CO
Desired Skillsat:
*8+ years supporting Operations and Maintenance (O&M) ground systems engineering activities for a satellite communications system.
*Experience generating, analyzing, tracking, and managing requirements.
*Experience with systems engineering developing and maintaining schematics, analysis, block diagrams, system Bill of Materials (BOMs), and design review packages.
*Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
*Active TS/SCI clearance
Day to Day:
Insight Global is currently looking for a qualified and experienced RE Engineer/Systems Engineer/Hardware Engineer to provide engineering analysis, baseline management, operations and maintenance, system enhancement, and integration support. This position will be with the engineering team and responsible for ensuring successful operation, maintenance, and sustainment of the hardware associated with a complex high priority operational communications system. Responsibilities include establishing requirements for new system hardware enhancements, supporting efforts for new capabilities, and development and refinement of operational/engineering processes and procedures.
Within the small 20-person team, the Systems Engineer/Hardware Engineer will be expected to have the technical skills to troubleshoot, document, and resolve system outages and other issues that may be encountered during operation of the system. This includes the collection of diagnostic data, accurately documenting problems in logging and discrepancy reporting tools, restoring system operation, development of workarounds, and other activities necessary for recovery of the system. The Systems/Hardware Engineer will provide support to include storage, retrieval, and manipulation of data for analysis and troubleshooting of system capabilities and requirements; utilize analytic devices such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for troubleshooting; monitor functioning of equipment and make necessary modifications to ensure the system operates in conformance with specifications; support the generation of concept of operations (CONOP) and provide recommendations for system architecture. This is a small engineering team, and we are looking for an individual who enjoys a challenge and is willing to learn and grow within a multi-disciplined contract.
