In your role as the CI SME/Instructor - DCAC, you will support the Joint Counterintelligence Training Activity (JCITA) by delivering classroom and field instruction that provides Counterintelligence (CI) Agents with the foundational knowledge required to perform the diverse duties of a Defense Agency CI Special Agent. You will help students develop an understanding of CI missions, functions, and activities in support of investigations, collections, operations, functional services, and analysis and production.

In your role as the CI SME/Instructor - DCAC, you will support the Joint Counterintelligence Training Activity (JCITA) by delivering classroom and field instruction that provides Counterintelligence (CI) Agents with the foundational knowledge required to perform the diverse duties of a Defense Agency CI Special Agent. You will help students develop an understanding of CI missions, functions, and activities in support of investigations, collections, operations, functional services, and analysis and production.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom instruction that provides CI Agents with the basic knowledge to conduct the diverse duties of a Defense Agency CI Special Agent
- Assess student performance in field exercises that frequently exceed an eight (8) hour day, include weekends, and require travel within the National Capital Region (NCR)
- Support instruction on full-scope CI investigations and the responsibilities of Defense Agency CI Special Agents
- Instruct students on CI missions and functions, including investigations, collections, operations, functional services, and analysis and production
- Apply experience conducting or supporting full-scope CI investigations to support practical, mission-focused instruction
- Provide feedback and coaching to students during classroom instruction and field-based practical exercises
- Support course teams in preparing, delivering, and refining instructional materials, practical exercises, and student assessments
- Coordinate with Government stakeholders, course leadership, and instructional staff to ensure training objectives are met
Your Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Counterintelligence (CI) Special Agent credentialing school
- Five (5) years demonstrated experience related to CI activities, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
- Demonstrated experience conducting or supporting full-scope CI investigations
- Extensive knowledge of CI missions and functions
- Thorough understanding of CI activities in support of the five (5) CI functions: investigations, collections, operations, functional services, and analysis and production
- Ability to deliver classroom instruction that provides CI Agents with the basic knowledge to conduct Defense Agency CI Special Agent duties
- Ability to assess student performance in field exercises that frequently exceed an eight (8) hour day, include weekends, and require travel within the NCR
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, instructors, and Government stakeholders
- TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required
