Title: Principal Windows Systems Administrator
Location: Onsite - El Segundo, CA - No Telecommute
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret/SCI with Current or Recent Polygraph (within last 5 years)
Travel: Up to 10%
Shift: 1st Shift (9/80A)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Principal Windows Systems Administrator to support classified infrastructure environments within a highly secure government program. This role will support enterprise Windows systems administration, Active Directory infrastructure, security compliance, and multi-network operations in classified environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, system security, troubleshooting, scripting, and classified environment compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Windows Server environments for classified government systems.
Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, permissions, and domain architectures.
Support multi-user and multi-network classified systems environments.
Perform system upgrades, patching, monitoring, backup/recovery, and configuration management.
Create and manage user accounts, file permissions, and security access controls.
Troubleshoot issues across software, hardware, operating systems, and network environments.
Maintain security audit logs and comply with ISSM security requirements.
Support system imaging, deployment, and hardware/software lifecycle activities.
Develop technical documentation, procedures, and operational processes.
Coordinate with vendors, engineers, project managers, and IT leadership.
Support after-hours and weekend maintenance activities as required.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of IT experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE or higher).
Experience managing Windows Server environments.
Strong Active Directory administration experience including GPOs, policies, permissions, and domain architecture.
Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with current/recent Polygraph.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program access.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting classified government or DoD environments.
MCSE or similar Client certification.
