The Opportunity:
As a Software Engineering Project Lead, you will provide leadership and organization for multi-disciplinary teams developing software, designing and implementing computer networks, and integrating software to deliver functional systems. Your efforts will directly support the Department of Defense (DoD) and other Intelligence Community agencies across the full product lifecycle, including R&D, developmental testing, operational deployment, production, and sustainment
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the testing, delivery, and support of CACI products, systems, and capabilities
• Drive continuous process improvement to enhance development efficiencies, product quality, and speed to mission
• Coach, educate, and indoctrinate development and delivery teams, on-site product support teams, and mission customers in necessary processes and procedures for mission success
• Participate in analysis of alternatives, task planning, scope definition, and technical risk management to ensure successful product delivery
• Support the publication of test plans, product documentation, delivery schedules, and product roadmaps
• Collaborate with the NAVY C3I Division Engineering team to provide customer feedback on additional needs, pain points, and address skills gaps to enhance technical capacity and understanding of customer needs and objectives across the organization
• Support Engineering Review Boards, Program Management Reviews, system demonstrations, formal test events, and other technical interchange meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in software development, aircraft systems, and test and evaluation
• Experience managing test and delivery of projects
• Strong customer and user relations skills, with experience at technical interchange meetings and representing the organization in technical matters
• Experience guiding a team through the test, delivery, and support process
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills
• Excellent written communication skills, with strong experience developing white papers and technical proposals
• Experience establishing and maintaining working relationships with all levels of customer organizations
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic work environment
• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Desired:
• Experience with Agile DevSecOps and Model Based Systems Engineering processes and tools applied to the development of complex military and intelligence systems
• Experience migrating systems to modern, cloud-based architectures
• Experience working system of systems through development, test, and delivery to include ACAT-level programs.
• Secret or Top-Secret Clearance in hand
