Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with extensive systems engineering expertise to support programs in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and translate customer requirements into actionable system specifications
- Conduct process engineering activities to improve workflows, efficiency, and system performance
- Analyze user requirements, CONOPS documentation, and high-level system architectures to develop detailed system requirements specifications
- Guide stakeholders in requirements development, recommend alternative technical approaches, and perform feasibility studies
- Provide technical support for requirements integration, system design, and technology implementation
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and design documentation
- Prepare and evaluate systems engineering management plans, integration plans, and test plans
- Coordinate with government and program stakeholders to address technical considerations, issues, and resolution strategies
- Support system integration, validation, and verification efforts throughout the development lifecycle
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful implementation and sustainment of system capabilities
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of systems engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (additional experience may be substituted where applicable)
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph
