Java Developer

Insight Global is hiring Secret or Top Secret Cleared junior and mid level Java Software Developer to join our team supporting mission-critical systems within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable applications that align with DoD operational and cybersecurity requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in Agile and DevSecOps environments, supporting system modernization, and building applications that integrate with enterprise and tactical systems specifically using Java frameworks.

Required skills include:
- Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelors Degree and 2+ years of Software Development experience specifically using Java
- Experience with REST API Development
- Experience with SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL

Nice to have, but not required:
- Experience with DevSecOps pipelines
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, CI/CD, Docker or Kubernetes
- Security+ Certification

Insight Global is hiring multiple candidates for this position so exact pay will vary based on candidates level of expertise, depth of knowledge and clearance level. We anticipate paying 100K - 140K for these openings as well as offering health, vision, dental, and 401K benefits.
